Natura awarded Leaping Bunny certification
Brazilian beauty brand joins the Leaping Bunny family
We are delighted to announce that Brazilian cosmetics multinational Natura has been awarded the Leaping Bunny certification for its products and ingredients - meeting the gold-standard guarantee of no animal testing.
The beauty brand joins over one thousand companies that have already achieved the cruelty free certification, including The Body Shop, who Natura bought last September. All Natura’s beauty ranges, including body, face and hair products, as well as perfumes and makeup, will display the Leaping Bunny logo, the internationally recognised certification for non-animal tested products.
Michelle Thew, CEO of Cruelty Free International, said: “We are delighted to award the Leaping Bunny certification to Natura. We want to congratulate Natura for demonstrating it is possible to be a global and innovative brand without inflicting suffering on animals. The Leaping Bunny makes it easy for customers to make an informed and ethical decision about their shopping.”
Roseli Mello, Natura’s Director of Innovation and Consumer Safety, said: “This is an important cause for Natura. It is why we openly support the campaign conducted by The Body Shop in partnership with Cruelty Free International to end animal testing throughout the cosmetics industry”.
