Animal testing for household products
Across Europe, countless animals such as rabbits, hamsters, rats and mice continue to suffer and die in household product testing. They are injected, gassed, force-fed and killed to test the ingredients that go into everyday household products such as washing up liquid, air fresheners and dishwasher tablets.
We think this is wrong. Please join our campaign in calling on Europe to clean up cruelty for good by ending animal testing for household products.

Did you know ethical alternatives can be used instead of cruel animal tests?
Leaping Bunny cruelty free companies like The Co-operative, Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Ecover, Method, and Bio-D show that it is possible to make household products without testing on animals. Existing combinations of safe ingredients can be used and validated modern and humane non-animal methods are often cheaper, faster and more reliable than the animal tests they replace.
We’ve cleaned up cosmetics, now let’s make household products cruelty free
We successfully campaigned for an EU ban on testing cosmetics on animals. This has been a driving force for the cosmetics industry to develop and use humane alternatives to animal tests.
If they can do it for cosmetics, it can be done for household cleaning products!
